3 Months Old!

First and foremost I have to apologize for not blogging in awhile! I promise to do it more often... and will try to make up for it by uploading extra pictures :)


Our little lady is growing so fast and is constantly reminding us of how wonderful experiencing all the new “Firsts” is again! She is rolling over (from belly to back) and is holding her head up so well! She’s a strong little one. You no longer really have to work for the smiles—she’s more than willing to give them out if you even glance in her direction. She is an extremely easy going, happy baby, who just seems to adore life, and her Big Brother a whole lot. She loves listening to her brother babble to her and is giggling constantly. Yes, giggling. We’ve finally hear the first real belly laugh (thanks to my Mom who was playing patty cake with her little feet!) It’s, of course, adorable... and I can’t wait to hear it again. She has this cute little squeal that she does when she takes a breath! It’s super cute. I hope to catch it on video soon!


Jaiden is starting to be quite the talking machine and is just starting to put together two word combinations like “all done!” and his new favorite “what’s this?”. He knows SO many new animal sounds and loves showing them off to people. He LOVES his little sister and is starting to notice that she’s actually taking notice to him (if that make sense to all of you?) He loves that HE can actually make her smile and loves tickling her to try to make her laugh. He is sharing everything with her (he loves setting stuff on her belly as she’s laying on the floor or in the bouncy seat... trucks, balls, etc) and is trying desperately to feed her his food (UGH! My biggest battle at the moment). He always puts it up to her mouth and says “MMmmmm!” I’ve tried so many different approaches to kibosh this, and am currently working the “she doesn’t have teeth yet” angle, so we’ll see if this one clicks or not.


I’m not sure all of you are aware yet, but I’ve officially starting to get my feet back into the photography thing, and it seems to be going good so far! I have 3 different 6 month shoots in August, a family shoot in Aug, and 4 newborn shoots in January lined up... and that happened in just a short weeks time! I had a logo made and am really ready to get the ball rolling again! Get a hold of me if any of you would like some photos done!


Sorry this was a short update, I promise to do it again soon. I’ve been busy editing a newborn shoot I did last week, along with all my normal daily “to do” activities. On a side note, Kevin and I are celebrating 4 wonderful years tomorrow. We are planning to go out and celebrate sometime in the next week without the kiddos, but tomorrow Kevin is taking off a little early from work and we’re taking Jaiden and Makenna to see the new Pooh movie. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our marriage and the life & family we’ve created. I’m one lucky lady. Love you more than you know Kev :)
