Its official, the nursery is finally just about complete. We still have a few finishing touches to add, but for the most part... we’re done! Yayy! I remember feeling this same overwhelming sense of relief when we finished Jaiden’s room too. I’m not sure why, I think it’s a combination of the fact that we’re starting to really get things crossed off our “to do” list... and that we’re this much closer to meeting our precious little girl. I’m honestly am so excited to see her sweet little face for the first time and can’t believe we will be doing so in less than 13 weeks!! I have my glucose tolerance testing tomorrow and my 28 week appointment Monday... woohoo! Now that we’re getting closer to “D-Day” we will be getting into specific details for her arrival (if she decides to wait up until that point, and let’s just say I’m having big time doubts about this). As of right now my plan is to do a repeat c-section around 39 weeks, but there is a part of me that gets so upset and freaked out about the long hospital stay, the actual surgery, tough recovery, and so on . Thinking about not being able to pick Jaiden up and even get him in and out of the crib for naps for 6 LONG weeks is bumming me out big time. If I go into labor prior to the planned c-section day, there is a small part of me that wants to play it by ear and see what happens. Like I’ve said before, all the Doctors have assured me that I’m a great candidate for a vbac, but on the flip side, I just can’t get Jaiden’s delivery out of my head. Ahhh, to say I’ve got some tough decisions to make in the near future is an understatement. When push comes to shove I’ll do whatever it takes to have a safe and healthy delivery ending with our baby girl in my arms. I’m just trying to stay focused on the end result, a daughter. I’d love to have everything planned out, but I know realistically that as soon as I do, everything will change. Again, all I really want is healthy baby girl in my arms. I’m sure everything else will fall into place.
Here’s some pictures of the nursery!
