The Dreaded FALL!

Ugh! No joke—for the past 4 months every time I leave my Doctors appointments I always hear “be careful on all the ice. We don’t need you taking any spills!” My response every time is, “Ahh, you are definitely going to jinks me one of these times...” The inevitable has happened, and unfortunately I can’t blame it on the ice though... just my own klutziness and the fact that my center of gravity is so off balance. I fell in the shower Saturday morning. Definitely not fun. Since the office isn’t open on weekends I called the on-call nurse and she was adamant that I talk to a Dr on call. Long story short, after talking with the Dr I’m confident that everything is fine. Makenna has continued to be super active, I haven’t had any pain, no cramping, no bleeding, and my water didn’t break. There were a few things the doctor had me keeping an eye out for, but I haven’t experienced anything out of the norm. I may be heading up to Grand Rapids Thursday evening for my sister to do a quick ultrasound. My Grandma Williams will be in town and I think it’d be fun for everyone to get one last sneak peek of our baby girl until we actually get to meet her in person. I feel like seeing her will give me a little more piece of mind. I definitely don’t want to spend the last 8 weeks of pregnancy stressing about this fall.... but again, I’m positive everything is fine. No one worry! I’ll post pictures of her when we get back :)
